a million things... all at once...

There's not really much of a story to be told here or now present.
I saw a bluegrass festival with a jam at the end of one night. All the heavy hitters were there. You know, Bela, Jerry, Tony, Sam, Mark...the list goes on and on. They did a jam on Orange Blossom Special. The number of musicians on stage created this huge crescent enclosure on the stage...almost like reaching out to hug the audience. They went all around that crescent shaped hug one player at a time taking the next blazing solo that was so even hotter than the last. All players took a solo. All players played back up at certain points as well. But only 1 player lasted the entire song. Only 1 player played from start to finish. Not even knowing how what he was playing sounded like, not yet making that connection, I made my decision.
Grew up in Oklahoma. Finished the last half of high school in Idyllwild. One year at the New School. Then life at an adult-ish pace. A year back home, played great music. Moved to Philly. Played for a short time, then ... ... ... ... Finally came around and played some great music in Philly. Now I'm in Seattle, playing some great music. I've played some amazing places and with some unreal bands. Played all over the country in more genres than I'll admit. No matter the who, the where, the level, the time, or the anything else...it all led to now. Thankfully.
